Food was delicious best king prawn and lamb curry I've had in a long time. Great service definitely will go there again. Definitely an improvement from previous owner.

Lovely food, decent prices and great portions. We all left fully satisfied! Not a huge drinks selection, but a bit of everything so you won't miss out. Food came very quickly even in a packed restaurant. Staff were very busy but never forgot about us, very pleasant and helpful! It's a small restaurant so they're doing their best with Covid restrictions but we didn't feel unsafe and waiters wore gloves and the tables were well spaced for a small room. If I ever come back to Haltwhistle I would go again!

TOURIST VISIT ON SATURDAY EVENING MEAL FOR TWO A slow start from the staff in both taking our order and serving the starter, especially strange as the restaurant was very quiet. However, our starters were both piping hot and tasty. We had a couple of soft drinks to begin with. We both ordered the Mixed Grill for our main course. This comes with chips or rice. It would be better if they offered a plain naan instead of chips. The mixed grill is certainly plentiful for meat, chicken and lamb, cooked in Tandoori style. We chose a tikka naan but couldn't taste anything significant. The salad accompanying the main course was small: a piece of tomato, one slice of cucumber and a few bits of shredded lettuce with a slice of lemon. We added Saag Aloo (potato and spinach) side order, which was rather soggy but on top of the rice with onions from the sizzling mixed grill, it enhanced the combination of flavours. We each had a draught pint of Cobra. £53 between two, which we felt was reasonable.

This place is a must if you love Indian food. the staff are very good and the food is brilliant and the place is spotless clean. thank you all at Zaki Alan. Isobel. Just had another meal this time a takeaway tried phoning told to do it online ordered the food told to pick up at 6.33 and would get confirmation email still waiting went 10 minutes early to make sure we where getting food .and it was ready got home 1 minute away chips cold food lovely but communication would have been nice disappointed.
